It doesn’t matter if your job has nothing to do with revenue. There are many support roles in the pharmaceutical and health care arena that aren’t sales related: technical support, IT, field service engineers, and the like. But if you’re going after a job in clinical device revenue, pharma sales, clinical diagnostics, imaging, lab, or any other lab sales area, then this applies even more! Your job search is the biggest revenue process of your life. YOU’RE the product, and you’re trying to get someone (a potential employer) to buy you (agree to pay you for your time and talent).
Your CV is a vital step in your product management process to convince someone to give you the career opportunity. It’s your brochure that tells about the product (you). It’s important that it’s clear, easy to understand, not too busy, and it should describe these key pieces about the product that make it interesting.
